El Centro de Ayuda has over thirty-five years of experience in providing a wide array of human services to low-income families residing in Northeast Los Angeles.
Our Logo represents Growth, Nurturance, and Balance. It also acknowledges the Indigenous Roots of the Latino Community. Yum Kaz, the Aztec Lord of Harvest, was chosen for his symbolism of Growth. Calli, the Aztec representation of the home, is the Center of Existence for all the people. Four sprouting ears of corn, a refuge of nurturance, represent the four directions of the Aztec Calendar which symbolizes balance.
